AAR adds three heavy maintenance lines with Miami MRO expansion.

AAR adds three heavy maintenance lines with Miami MRO expansion. AAR Corp. has opened an expanded airframe MRO facility at Miami International Airport, adding more than 100,000 ft^2 of capacity and creating 200 full-time jobs. The aviation aftermarket specialist marked the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 17. Built to support the maintenance requirements of a long-term commercial airline customer, the new facility will accommodate three heavy maintenance lines, with the first aircraft expected to be inducted this autumn. The project expands AAR's existing Airframe MRO operation at Miami International Airport and was developed in collaboration with the airport, Ryan Companies, HPM and federal, state and local partners. AAR said the additional capacity will generate 200 new full-time positions and provide wider economic benefits for Miami-Dade County. Recruitment is under way through the company's workforce development programmes and partnerships with local educational institutions. "The expansion of our Airframe MRO facility in Miami reflects both the strength of our operations and the confidence customers place in AAR to deliver quality and reliability," said John M. Holmes, Chairman, President and CEO of AAR. "We are excited to continue growing alongside our airline customers while enhancing our ability to meet their evolving maintenance needs." Holmes also credited Miami International Airport, project partners and government stakeholders for supporting the expansion. [avi_get_posts] 2026 media kit. AAR Corp - custom E Learning & compliance training development.

AAR Corp - custom E Learning & compliance training development. AAR Corp, a global aviation services company, needed an effective way to train employees across multiple locations without disrupting daily operations. They turned to CCI to develop modern, interactive e-learning solutions that could be delivered through their existing Learning Management System (LMS). Project Goal AAR required two major training initiatives: * OSHA Hazard Communication (HazCom) Training When the U.S. government updated chemical labeling requirements, AAR needed a new compliance course to ensure all employees were properly trained and certified. * Smart Spending Training A course designed to educate employees on purchasing procedures, vendor negotiations, and cost-saving strategies. Both courses needed to be: * Engaging * Easy to understand * Interactive * Trackable through AAR's LMS * Efficient to complete without pulling employees away from their work for long periods Its Solution CCI developed two complete Computer-Based Training (CBT) programs, each built with instructional design best practices and tailored to AAR's operational needs. OSHA HazCom CBT When OSHA updated chemical labeling standards, AAR again selected CCI to produce a new compliance course. CCI delivered a fully interactive program that: * Explained the new labeling system * Included knowledge checks throughout * Featured a final exam to verify comprehension * Automatically tracked employee completion and certification Smart Spending CBT CCI created a course that: * Explained who makes purchasing decisions * Demonstrated how to negotiate better pricing * Included real-world examples and scenarios * Required employees to submit a cost-savings idea as part of the final assessment Production Services Provided For both courses, CCI handled: * Scriptwriting * Graphic design * On-camera and voiceover talent * Audio recording * Interactive programming * LMS-ready packaging * Transcripts and documentation for compliance Each course was designed to be completed in under an hour, ensuring minimal disruption to employee schedules. * Thousands of AAR employees trained efficiently * Full compliance with updated OSHA regulations * Improved purchasing awareness and cost-saving behaviors * Seamless integration with AAR's existing LMS * Reduced training time and increased consistency across locations The CBT programs proved to be a highly effective way for AAR to reach a large workforce without interrupting daily operations. Client Testimonial "When I was with AAR Corporation, CCI worked with us to put together a HazCom program for our employees. The project was completed in a timely fashion and fulfilled our safety needs. This led to another collaboration with CCI and our Finance and HR departments to create a Spend Smart course, which guides AAR employees on ways to spend carefully within their budgets." - Lisa Sereno, Enterprise Trainer, AAR Corp Need custom e-learning or compliance training for your organization?
