Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, health care administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ in healthcare, systems management or data reporting, all with an emphasis on revenue cycle is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Understanding of RCM metrics such as AR days, denial rates, collections, and net revenue performance.
  • Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Experience using computer and Microsoft tools.
  • Valid driver’s license required in incumbent’s legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions required.
  • Minimum 18 years of age required.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for revenue cycle EHR systems, clearinghouse, and contracting platforms.
  • Maintains and builds payor code rules, group plan processes, fee schedule alignments, and payer rate structures to ensure accurate charge capture and compliance with payer contracts.
  • Collaborates with IT, Finance, and Operations to align data definitions, ensure consistent reporting, and maintains system security.
  • Assists with system user training, trouble shooting, software testing and implementation, to improve system adoption and accuracy across the revenue cycle team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Supports implementation and integration projects for new technologies or system enhancements.
  • Assists with Special Projects to support process automation, data validation, and technology optimization initiatives.
  • Completes system maintenance processes such as automation manager, batch service maintenance, duplicates, and voids.
  • Maintains overall knowledge of State and Payer Regulations and Contract Terms.
  • Partner with RCM leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Monitors and adheres to all compliance standards.
  • Abides by the Bancroft Code of Ethics, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement in promoting ethical behavior, establishing relationships and providing guidance in decision-making situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary. Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental needs.
  • Remains current with required training certifications, meet state-regulated licensing and regulatory accreditations, and adhere to mandatory requirements.
  • Maintains effective verbal and written communications with colleagues, those served, and their family members and/or guardians when applicable.
  • Maintains a safe and respectful environment, free of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; and does not allow weapons, threats, bullying, or intimidation.
  • Reports any violations to the appropriate individual as soon as the incident occurs.
