Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related training equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title is required.
  • Experience within luxury brands or markets is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee Front Office department operations and ensure implementation of KQA and BSA standards.
  • Provide hands-on training and continuous coaching to subordinates while supervising and directing service-related tasks.
  • Foster commitment to intuitive guest service and model desired service behaviors.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Create work schedules adequate for operational needs and organize daily shifts.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities, audit work for accuracy, and monitor outcomes.
  • Oversee the Front Office budget process and control operating and labor expenses.
  • Use Peak Performance to optimize the guest service experience within labor budget and occupancy levels.
  • Create guestroom occupancy forecasts, manage the departmental budget, and participate in P&L meetings when requested.
  • Solve problems, provide guidance and support, and empower subordinates to resolve guest issues.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with subordinates to proactively solve problems and support a productive work environment.
  • Train, mentor, and develop Grand Performers to world-class property and intuitive service standards.
  • Assist in developing leaders and bench strength through the Job Coach program.
  • Conduct coaching and counseling, progressive discipline, 90-day reviews, and annual performance appraisals.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of room types, amenities, services, and brand standards.
  • Develop, acknowledge, and track guest preferences.
  • Stay informed of sales strategies, packages, promotions, and discounts and understand their impact on other departments.
  • Demonstrate sales techniques to upsell rooms, amenities, and products.
  • Review GSS scores, comment cards, guest satisfaction results, and other data, taking corrective action as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, planned or unplanned.
