Star Catcher builds the Star Catcher Network, a constellation of Power Node satellites that collect solar energy and beam it to client satellites in Low Earth Orbit to provide on-demand power. It operates on a power-as-a-service model, owning and managing the space-based energy grid and selling electricity to customers rather than requiring upfront hardware investments. The Power Node system delivers broad-spectrum power compatible with existing solar arrays, with output from 100 watts to 100 kilowatts and up to ten times sunlight concentration. The goal is to remove power constraints for LEO satellites by enabling scalable, on-orbit energy services with demonstrations underway and commercial service later.
