Requirements
Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
Operating Room Technician Certification is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures to provide safe and effective care.
Oversee the application of sterile and aseptic technique and ensure equipment functions properly.
Ensure the operating suite or procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure.
Monitor par levels of surgical instruments and necessary departmental supplies.
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments, scopes, and equipment according to recommended guidelines and practices.
Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Desired Qualifications
A minimum of one year of operating room work experience is preferred.

Requirements
Graduate of Accredited Surgical Tech program
Operating Room Technician Certification.
