Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a healthcare facility, including contracting and calling on physicians and office staff.
  • A proven history of sales success, developing, organizing, and implementing territory plans, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts, markets, and competition through prospecting, lead qualification, sales, and negotiations.
  • Willingness to reside in the territory and complete at least 30% overnight travel based on business needs, including some weekends for trade show attendance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive Flyrcado market-share growth across hospitals, imaging centers, cardiac centers, mobile imaging, Department of Defense, and Veterans Affairs facilities.
  • Build business and functional relationships within imaging and cardiology referral sources, model competitive threats, and use payer and society influence networks to achieve sales forecasts and volume targets.
  • Conduct regular local-market business analyses covering customers, payers, competition, and key stakeholders, and create, implement, and update business plans to achieve access and sales goals.
  • Achieve the quarterly and yearly operating plan for the territory, customer satisfaction, and retention.
  • Understand product differentiators and position Flyrcado through clinical knowledge, marketing assets, and education programs.
  • Advise imaging centers and cardiologists on their goals, equipment, workflow, and implementation of Flyrcado in their facilities.
  • Identify top referring cardiologists, build relationships, and influence decision-making criteria to increase Flyrcado awareness and utilization.
  • Prioritize projects and high-impact opportunities, monitor performance dashboards, analyze results, execute sales actions, prioritize customers, and assign responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with market-access support teams to optimize payer contract implementation and satisfaction across imaging centers and hospitals.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy channel partners and GE PDx Application Specialists to meet customer product-delivery, education, and expectation needs.
  • Conduct pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions, and drive utilization.
  • Monitor territory-plan performance and results and coordinate next steps with internal and external partners.
  • Conduct virtual selling and cold calling with new and existing targets, while holding live customer meetings wherever possible.
  • Provide pricing strategy, negotiate prices, manage contracts, and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities.
  • Forecast territory orders and sales and submit weekly progress reports.
  • Represent GE HealthCare at healthcare conferences and seminars to promote its products and company.
  • Drive total business to GE HealthCare in alignment with the goals and clinical benefits of its HCS and National teams.
  • Maintain a compliant and ethical culture while promoting GE HealthCare products.
  • Complete additional projects and initiatives as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling or leading in a highly matrixed environment and managing large accounts.
  • Nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiac industry knowledge.
  • Experience with product launches and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees.
  • Strong analytical, oral, presentation, and written skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management.
  • Ability to mentor non-senior Cardiac PET Account Managers and manage special commercial projects.
  • Ability to use internal reporting analytically to manage account plans and identify growth patterns and opportunities.
  • Ability to apply traditional and nontraditional problem-solving techniques to complex issues and improve performance and company effectiveness.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships with employees and external contacts, including physicians and office staff, at all levels.
  • Ability to achieve objectives while operating in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

AsiaMedic first in ASEAN to deploy GE HealthCare's MR31 deep learning MRI platform

AsiaMedic has become the first site in ASEAN to implement MR31, GE HealthCare's latest generation MRI platform featuring deep learning technology. The Singapore-based imaging centre is among the earliest adopters in Asia Pacific. MR31 incorporates deep learning technologies that reduce scan times and enable detailed examinations across neurological, musculoskeletal and nerve imaging. Sonic DL for 3D delivers up to 12 times scan acceleration, reducing examination times across brain, spine, orthopaedic and body scans. The platform also supports high-quality prostate MRI imaging. AIR Recon DL Phase Correction provides improved visualisation of clinically significant lesions, whilst high-resolution T2-weighted imaging aids lesion localisation for prostate fusion biopsy planning. Shorter scan times mean reduced patient time in scanners and may help decrease repeat examinations caused by movement.

GE HealthCare launches AI tool to forecast hospital capacity bottlenecks 72 hours ahead

GE HealthCare has launched CareIntellect for Operations, an AI-powered software application that helps health systems forecast capacity constraints up to 72 hours ahead. The solution analyses hundreds of patient and operational data points to predict bottlenecks and recommend actions to optimise capacity and throughput. The Queen's Health Systems and Duke Health will be the first to implement the application. It uses two proprietary AI models: the Pressure Forecast model, which predicts resource constraints across hospitals and departments, and the Estimated Day of Discharge model, which predicts when patients will be discharged. The tool addresses operational challenges as US inpatient volumes rose 5.3% in 2025, requiring health systems to manage increased demand whilst facing staffing shortages and rising costs.

GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. Clinical collaborations are underway at UZ Brussel in Belgium and Rigshospitalet in Denmark to evaluate the system across cardiology, neurology, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging.
