Responsibilities
  • The Business Development Representative Intern will start with a one-on-one meeting with the Business Development Lead or your designated personnel to discuss the professional goals of your academic coursework to ensure you meet all academic requirements during the internship.
  • The internship will be supervised by the Sales – Business Development team to provide routine feedback and status updates.
  • There will be an exit interview with the Sales – Business Development Lead and Human Resources for continual improvement of the program.
  • The internship will provide exposure to a variety of opportunities within the Sales – Business Development department.
  • Assist with identifying potential clients and prospective opportunities while promoting financial institution products and services as appropriate.
  • Gain an understanding and maintain knowledge of existing and emerging financial service technologies.
  • Exposure to executing outbound calls, use networking platforms to build partnerships and expand customer base.
  • Help prepare internal and external presentations to accelerate Transcard’s business development initiatives.

  • Preferred qualifications include studies in Sales, Communication, or Marketing.

(V), Tuesday announced a collaboration with Transcard to launch a next-generation embedded finance platform, designed to power payments and working capital solutions in the freight and logistics industry. This alliance puts embedded credit and working capital solutions in the hands of freight forwarders and airline carriers on WebCargo by Freightos, the company noted. This partnership combines Visa's global expertise in commercial solutions with Transcard's leading-edge payment orchestration technology, helping WebCargo users to gain access to flexible credit terms, seamless onboarding and automated reconciliation for air cargo transactions. The company expects the partnership to leverage its technology as well as expertise to help businesses streamline operations.
