Responsibilities
Handle Annual Maintenance Club tune-ups.
Complete garage door inspections by following a checklist.
Handle callback visits when the initial work is not done correctly.
Turn negative customer experiences into positive experiences.
Educate customers about their doors and inspection findings.
Receive purchase orders for the warehouse and update inventory with exact counts.
Assist the Area Manager or Market Lead with load-outs for technicians and installers.
Maintain physical warehouse counts and update inventory.

Experience with repairs and maintenance in the home service industry, manufacturing, automotive, or similar fields.

The Job:
Handling our Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups
Complete garage door Inspections, following a check list

The Journey of a Maintenance Technician:
Our apprenticeship is a 4 week training program at the A1 Training Academy in Phoenix, AZ.
A1 covers flights and accommodations for the duration of your training in Phoenix. (You will typically work 45-50 hours a week while an apprentice and qualify for overtime for hours over 40 in a week.)
Once you complete training, you will receive a one thousand dollar bonus, and graduate to a junior maintenance technician. You will perform your duties in and around your market. Boom!
Interview Process:
Our interview process is not long, but it’s thorough. We want to make sure that each person who joins the team is the right fit for A1. And that we are the right fit for you!
After we review your application, you will be contacted for an interview with a recruiter if we want to know more. Plan on up to 30 minutes.
Next step is an interview with the Area manager. Plan on approximately 60 minutes.
Next step is when the fun begins: you will be invited to ride along with one of our technicians so you can see what life at A1 is really like. Plan on a full day.
