Requirements
  • A Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) in nursing is required.
  • Current membership in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) is required.
  • Surgical (post-operative) experience is required.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, child psychiatry, palliative care, and general medicine, is required.
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality nursing care in a hospital setting.
  • Assess patients’ medical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Communicate clearly with patients’ families.
  • Participate in case management and continuity of care.
  • Supervise and support auxiliary staff as needed.
