View

Javelin Global Commodities trades and markets a broad range of physical commodities, including coal, iron ore, steel inputs, hydrocarbons, and freight, offering marketing, trading, hedging, logistics, and financing to clients worldwide. It functions like a merchant bank, providing risk management and working-capital financing to help clients lock margins in volatile markets. Founded by Peter Bradley and Spencer Sloan, former Goldman Sachs leaders, the firm differentiates itself through deep physical trading expertise, strategic partnerships, and a growing role as a major coal exporter, while expanding into greener energy and carbon-related products with ITOCHU as a minority investor. Its goal is to create value for producers by optimizing sales and for consumers by sourcing cost-effective raw materials, while expanding into green energy and sustainable steel inputs.
