About the Company

Vitol

Global energy trading, logistics, and infrastructure

Vitol is a global energy trader and logistics operator active across oil, gas, power, and renewables. It sources crude and products and moves them to refineries, utilities, airlines, retailers, and wholesalers, while actively managing the physical risk of energy movement; its offerings combine trading, shipping (about 6,000 voyages a year), and an in-house network of energy infrastructure supported by proprietary technology. The company differentiates itself with a large, worldwide footprint (40+ offices, ~1,600 staff from 65+ nationalities) and end-to-end capabilities, plus a focus on the energy transition backed by substantial renewable investment. Its goal is to keep adding value along the energy supply chain, meet global energy demand, and speed the shift to sustainable energy while maintaining strong risk and operational performance.
