Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of mammography experience is required, preferably in a lead role.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of mammography is required.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English is required.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and solve problems as issues arise is required.
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
  • ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications are required.
  • A Massachusetts Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Mammography is required.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of oneself or others, with or without reasonable accommodation, is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all age levels served within the scope of the position and assigned areas is required.
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including prolonged standing or sitting, repetitive movements, bending or twisting, precise machine-control adjustments, and clear verbal communication, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist, perform mammography procedures according to the guidelines and regulations of the American College of Radiology and federal and state regulatory agencies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with three-dimensional breast tomosynthesis mammography equipment.
  • Experience with Meditech and PACS.
  • Previous experience with Cerner.
