About the job
- A completed or incomplete degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, processes, or a related career.
- At least 1–2 years of experience training operational personnel in the maquiladora industry, preferably automotive.
- Experience with production processes.
- Knowledge of quality tools, including QRQC, 8D, and KOSU.
- Experience managing skills matrices.
- Experience with training techniques and on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of interpreting work instructions and technical changes.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication, leadership, teaching, organization, follow-up, and teamwork abilities, with a results and quality focus and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Train and coach operators on the job.
- Identify training and development needs.
- Evaluate operational personnel performance.
- Maintain and update the skills and qualifications matrix.
- Deliver training on quality topics, including QRQC, 8D, KOSU, technical changes, and instructions.
- Support personnel rotation and supervise performance in new positions.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on training programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards and internal policies.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and financial objectives.
- Meet quality, OPEX, and timing standards.
- Promote efficient use of resources.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
- Report risks and opportunities to leadership.
- Knowledge of OPEX is desirable.
