Requirements
  • At least 3 years of management experience in the retail or hospitality industry with proven results.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, or squatting; occasional ladder climbing; and frequent stair climbing and descending.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all activities required to achieve store goals, including guest service, sales, human resources management, payroll and operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation.
  • Recruit, select, develop, coach, motivate, and retain associates while holding them accountable for performance and financial results.
  • Organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow up on store activities.
  • Assess associates consistently and review and communicate associate performance and deliverables.
  • Manage conflict, provide timely feedback, recognize achievement, and involve associates in decision-making.
  • Develop business strategy and maximize opportunities to generate additional store volume.
  • Forecast and analyze business trends and manage payroll expense to maximize store performance.
  • Achieve performance goals for net sales, DPT, UPT, payroll, and shortage.
  • Control payroll expenses through effective and efficient staffing.
  • Analyze business reports to identify problems and opportunities.
  • Direct guest service efforts and coach associates on guest interactions to increase transactions and capture guest opportunities.
  • Ensure sales, payroll, and inventory shortage goals are attained.
  • Manage income and expense categories related to company profit and loss statements.
  • Direct merchandise presentation, restocking, and recovery to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company culture, values, practices, and operational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the executive team.
  • Use weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate progress toward goals.
  • Implement visual standards and techniques within company guidelines.
  • Articulate brand positioning, marketing and promotional initiatives, outreach events, in-store events, and ministries.
  • Maintain personal integrity and business confidentiality.
  • Represent the brand through appropriate dress and grooming standards.
  • Maintain a clean store environment.
