Requirements
- Knowledge and clinical experience with mental health issues.
- Demonstrated ability to provide diagnostic assessment.
- Ability to establish and maintain trust and rapport.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Under a board-approved supervisor, provide clinical and consultative services to prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Provide counseling and case management services for patients using evidence-based practices.
- Perform crisis interventions as needed.
- Coordinate with referring providers and other professionals, and with family members as needed, to engage patients in care.
- Provide liaison services between the clinical team, clinical leadership, and other professionals involved in the patient's care.
- Consult and assure continuity of care, convey assessment findings, and implement therapeutic plans.
- Prepare reports and other documentation in accordance with good clinical practice and institutional standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
