Telpark strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Ana Aránguez as its new chief financial officer.

Telpark strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Ana Aránguez as its new chief financial officer. Telpark has consolidated the structure of its leadership team through the incorporation of Ana Aránguez as its new chief financial officer and member of its management committee. This decision responds to a strategy aimed at strengthening the financial vision of the business at a time when urban mobility demands increasingly efficient and integrated management models. Aránguez brings a professional career spanning more than two decades in executive positions, characterized by a constant link between operational decisions and the major strategic objectives of the corporations where she has served. Aránguez's arrival strengthens an executive structure dedicated to managing the operating volume of a firm that coordinates more than three hundred twenty thousand parking spaces distributed across one hundred fifty municipalities in Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. A graduate in Law and in Business Administration and Management from ICADE, the new executive has notable experience in dialogue with boards of directors, equity investors, and regulatory bodies, a capacity developed during her previous stages in highly complex and demanding sectors. Before taking on this new role, she held the responsibilities of chief financial officer and head of strategy and clients at the Spanish subsidiary of Intrum/Solvia, actively forming part of its executive committee. Previously she held the position of portfolio management director at the Sociedad de Gestión de Activos Procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria, where she participated in the entity's management decisions. Her time in the banking sector lasted more than ten years at Liberbank, where she rose progressively to the position of deputy CFO, after having begun her career at top-level firms in consulting and corporate finance such as Mercapital, Boston Consulting Group, and Arthur Andersen. The company's management team has valued this appointment as a key piece to ensure analytical rigor and the sustainability of operations during the immediate expansion phases. Senior management has emphasized the executive's technical solvency to face integration processes, efficiency improvements, and long-term-oriented financial planning. For her part, the new head of the finance area has focused on the opportunity to connect financial goals with the development of the operating business, guaranteeing balanced management in all areas where the company carries out its activity. The operational context in which this change takes place reflects a continuous evolution of the firm, whose shareholders include the investment fund Macquarie. The entity has diversified its traditional business lines to articulate comprehensive solutions covering the management of underground parking, regulated on-street areas, and the infrastructure necessary for the electrification of urban transport. This operational diversity requires accounting and strategic discipline capable of backing long-term investment commitments in municipal infrastructure and access technologies. The company's activity currently extends toward the organization of urban mobility in collaboration with local administrations. Its initiatives include the implementation of low-emission zones, the coordination of loading and unloading areas, the development of park-and-ride facilities to reduce traffic density in urban centers, and the establishment of ultra-fast electric charging nodes. This capacity for integration positions it as a key player in the energy transition and road reorganization plans carried out by city councils in the Iberian Peninsula. In the digital and charging infrastructure field, the firm maintains a prominent position thanks to its mobile platform, used by more than 6.6 million users across the region. At the same time, the network of supply points for electric vehicles reaches one thousand six hundred units installed between Spain and Portugal, a figure that supports current expansion plans toward maximum-power chargers. With the consolidation of its executive team, the corporation seeks to strengthen this technological and operational platform to respond with guarantees to the growth commitments set for the coming years.

Telpark refinances debt with $610M bond issue to fund growth opportunities

Telpark has successfully issued €540 million in senior secured bonds with a five-year maturity and 4.75% coupon to refinance its existing debt. The transaction will allow the urban mobility company to repurchase its fixed-rate bonds originally issued in January 2020, which were due in 2028, for a notional amount of €475 million. The funds will cover transaction costs, repay its revolving credit facility and maintain cash reserves for future inorganic growth opportunities. Telpark executed the bond acquisition below par, generating a gain. CFO Íñigo Duque said the operation reflects market confidence in the company and optimises its financial structure to support continued growth in Iberian urban mobility. J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley served as global coordinators, with BNP Paribas and Bank of America participating in the placement.
