- Familiarity with real-time operating system-based embedded processor architectures and hardware/software integration activities is required.
- Support the development, integration, and verification of Guidance, Navigation, and Control solutions for advanced aerospace and defense systems.
- Support requirements analysis, algorithm development and assessment, software integration, modeling and simulation, and system verification activities across the product lifecycle.
- Knowledge of WOSA or Open System Architectures.
- Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, Robot Operating System, Data Distribution Service, or autonomy frameworks.
- Familiarity with Kalman Filters, Extended Kalman Filters, Unscented Kalman Filters, or related estimation techniques.
- Knowledge of DO-178C or military software development processes.
- Prior technical leadership and mentorship experience.

↑ 29%Albers Aerospace expands in arizona. Aerospace and defense contractor Albers Aerospace has announced plans to expand its operations in Tucson, Ariz., where it has leased 30,000 sq. ft. of space. The full expansion over three years will add 24 jobs to the existing employment base, primarily in operations and manufacturing, with an economic impact of approximately $36 million. The facility became operational in July 2026. Based in McKinney, Texas, the company offers a variety of services, including precision machining, CNC programming and simulation, tool and fixture design, sheet metal fabrication, complex assemblies, specialized containers, specialized surface treatments, and welding.
