About the job
- Be based in Adelaide, South Australia, or Darwin, Northern Territory, with a willingness to work across one or both states.
- Have existing knowledge of the Australian Defence Force.
- Have 12 months of relevant occupational rehabilitation experience.
- Hold an appropriate allied health qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Occupational Therapy.
- Hold professional registration through ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist, AHPRA, ASORC, or AASW.
- Demonstrate stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Provide backfill support for on-base positions within the Northern Territory and/or South Australia to cover workforce-plan vacancies and annual or sick leave.
- Provide overflow case-management activities and/or specific services across the Australian Defence Force Rehabilitation Program and Department of Veterans' Affairs portfolios as required.
- Support Regional and Team Managers with quality and other business activities, including induction and training of new starters, competency reviews, strategic case reviews, file reviews and audits, and quality assurance of reports as needed.
- Provide Team Manager leave coverage.
