About the job
- Two to five years of prior experience working in the Salesforce.com cloud.
- Willingness to travel 35–50%.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
- Three to six years of demonstrated experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and decision support.
- Knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
- Experience or exposure to Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL).
- Strong SQL skills.
- Ability to complete technical design through iterative mockups.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage simultaneous workflows while maintaining quality output and meeting deadlines.
- Experience learning new technologies with little assistance.
- Experience with ETL tools and procedures, such as Informatica and Pentaho.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of decision-making, data preparation, and processes.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains.
- Create thorough documentation artifacts and maintain them for the duration of the project.
- Identify and document data migration paths and processes.
- Maintain the industry and technical knowledge base and facilitate and maintain industry relationships.
- Provide customer-focused quality service.
- Support assigned systems through the transition period.
- Perform other relevant duties based on experience to fulfill customer needs.
- Develop and perform standard queries to ensure data quality, identify data inconsistencies and missing data, and resolve issues as needed.
- Standardize data naming, data definitions, and data modeling.
- Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis.
- Collect, profile, collate, and map appropriate data for new or existing solutions and ongoing data analysis activities.
- Interpret customers' functional and information needs and translate them into functional or data requirements and process models.
