Flavorist Assistant

•Providing operational support to flavourists in creating formulas, in accordance with demand and instructions. Perform basic analysis using measuring tools, manage and maintain stock of raw materials, packaging and lab utensils. Maintain, calibrate and service lab equipment. Coordinate workload with internal departments. Provide regular updates to flavourists.

Requirements:

. Experienced and competent in safe laboratory working practices

· Accurate, consistent, and reliable in weighing, measuring, dispensing and compounding

· Experienced using basic analytical lab equipment (i.e. pH, flash point, etc…)

· Stock management

· Effective communication both verbally and written

· Reporting results

Required Experience:

· Experience working in science labs, preferably Food Chemistry.

· Experience working in a Flavour Creation Lab would be ideal.

· Good understanding of mathematics and science.

· Stock management / lab management
