About the company

Tenet3 delivers cybersecurity for DoD-scale cyber-physical systems, combining zero-day vulnerability detection, microelectronics inspections, and quantitative risk assessments using model-based system engineering (MBSE). Its MeTRA platform creates digital twins and digital threads across a system’s lifecycle to identify vulnerabilities and guide security investments, while MeTRA-HUB provides IL5 cloud hosting and BOMSquad analyzes SBOMs to spot risky C/C++ code. The company differentiates itself with defense-domain expertise, lifecycle-spanning digital models, and a closed-loop MBSE approach tailored to quantify risk and optimize security choices, rather than offering generic tools. Its goal is to harden critical defense infrastructure by delivering measurable risk reduction and strong support for Zero Trust architectures across hardware, software, and processes, under federal contracts and SBIR/IDIQ programs.

What believers are saying

  • The Air Force added $3.36M in May 2026 for anti-tamper engineering.
  • SCOUT tracks $25.3M across ten award actions during the last year.
  • GSA leads buying for Tenet3, widening federal access beyond a single program office.

What critics are saying

  • Tenet3's revenue concentration in DoD awards creates lethal budget timing dependence.
  • SCOUT shows $69.5M Phase III and $750K SBIR work expiring by 2027.
  • SAM registration expires October 10, 2026, threatening award execution and recompete eligibility.

What makes Tenet3 unique

  • MeTRA turns cyber-physical systems into digital twins spanning as-designed, as-built, operating states.
  • Tenet3 holds AFRL IL5 approval and runs MeTRA®HUB on AWS GovCloud.
  • Jeff Hughes brings 40 years of DoD anti-tamper leadership into Tenet3's core offering.
