About the job
- An active Assisted Living Administrator license in the respective state is required.
- Prior Executive Director or Administrator experience is required.
- One to two years of experience in senior living is required.
- Previous management experience directly supervising a team of at least 10 is required, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications are required.
- Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere.
- Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, and ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and well-being.
- Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships.
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including care delivery, food service, and facilities management, to meet or exceed operational standards.
- Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a team.
- Have direct responsibility for financial management and regulatory compliance of the communities.
- Oversee the sales and marketing process to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success managing operating expenses of at least $1 million annually is preferred.
- Previous sales or business development experience is preferred, including identifying and building local relationships to drive business and effective product pricing and revenue maximization.
- Experience facilitating small-group presentations is preferred.
