Requirements
  • A bachelor's or associate degree in a related design or electrical field.
  • Familiarity and confidence with computer-aided design software and drafting standards, including AutoCAD and Agi32.
  • Experience using Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Ability to interface with customers professionally and personally.
  • Ability to manage an email account in Outlook.
  • Ability to work adaptably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to independently own project design from start to finish.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects with various entities simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple client accounts and standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time and continuously operate a computer and office productivity equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Sales team and customers to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Request, organize, and manage available project documentation.
  • Design projects, perform takeoffs, and create project deliverables and submittals using Lonestar CAD standards and common practices.
  • Use the customer relationship management system to enter bills of materials and quote or price them using Lonestar stock or vendor partners.
  • Deliver quotes and project design submittals to clients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain project pricing updates and communicate with clients regularly.
  • Answer and respond to client inquiries.
  • Participate in in-person and virtual project meetings.
  • Program and troubleshoot lighting control systems.
  • Conduct field visits to obtain or communicate project design specifications.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by a supervisor or manager.
