Avantos provides an AI-native operating system for financial institutions to manage the entire client lifecycle—from onboarding to servicing—by consolidating fragmented legacy software into one platform. It uses a knowledge graph to connect client data, products, service teams, and workflows, allowing AI agents to reason across relationships, orchestrate work, and execute tasks with features like AI co-pilots, automated workflow orchestration, and a SmartBuilder for onboarding events. Unlike traditional CRM and workflow tools, Avantos moves from just analyzing data to actively coordinating and completing tasks across systems through its integrated connectors and cross-functional automation. The goal is to deliver a consistent, personalized, and compliant client experience across wealth management, insurance, retirement, and banking by unifying core financial services processes.

Who's moving where in wealth management? - Intellectus Partners, Avantos, Osaic.

Who's moving where in wealth management? - Intellectus Partners, Avantos, Osaic. Editorial Staff September 3, 2026 The latest executive moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management. Intellectus Partners San Francisco-based Intellectus Partners, has launched a client engagement team, aimed at transforming how clients experience and engage with the firm across its people, technology, investment capabilities, services and broader ecosystem. To run the function, Intellectus has hired Raymond Fernandez as vice president, strategic client services and engagement and Zana Hrvacic as platform and client engagement lead, the firm said in a statement. Together, they will bring complementary experience to the new client engagement team; Fernandez in high-touch family-office service and Hrvacic in client engagement, platform adoption and AI-enabled wealth technology. Fernandez will be responsible for covering strategic client service, complex client initiatives and family office-style coordination. Previously, he spent nearly eight years at ICONIQ, working within its family office platform supporting some of Silicon Valley's most sophisticated family-office relationships. Earlier in his career, Fernandez developed his client-service experience at First Republic. Hrvacic, who has more than a decade of experience across AI-enabled wealth technology, private wealth, family office services and enterprise transformation, most recently served as director, account management and marketing lead at venture-backed Arta Finance. At Arta, Hrvacic led engagement for the firm's largest customers, managed platform and product adoption, developed client education programs and helped build scalable engagement and onboarding models. Her earlier experience includes Capco, Gofen & Glossberg and BMO, including BMO's Family Office business. The new team will work across Intellectus with a mandate focused on anticipating client needs, increasing proactive engagement, coordinating complex requests, connecting clients with resources across the firm and its external network, and helping clients access the breadth of Intellectus' investment platform, family office services, founder's advisory, private markets, research, Connexus network, educational programming and AI capabilities. "We are building a very different kind of investment and advisory firm," said David La Placa, founder and CEO of Intellectus. "Sophisticated clients want great judgment, extraordinary responsiveness, access, ideas, problem solving and people who genuinely understand what matters to them. Our growth and our technology investments should allow us to deliver more of all of those things not simply operate more efficiently. The future isn't AI or human advice. We believe it's Human Touch AI - and an entirely new standard of service built around it." Avantos Avantos, an AI-native financial technology company providing an operating system designed to reimagine how financial institutions onboard and service clients, has appointed Hemang Bhojani as head of wealth solutions and Thomas Moore as head of wealth go-to-market. Bhojani will be responsible for leading the development and expansion of Avantos' wealth solutions, in particular helping firms unlock growth through AI-powered client intelligence, next-best-action recommendations and deeper engagement across wealth, retirement, insurance and other lines of business. At Morgan Stanley, Bhojani led the Path to Advice program, which generated $400 billion in flows and $1.2 trillion in AuM by converting workplace participants and self-directed investors into full-service wealth management relationships, reflecting a broader industry shift toward serving clients holistically across channels and products. Moore will lead go-to-market strategy and strategic partnerships for the company's wealth business, helping firms realize measurable value from AI while building the relationships and partnerships that support Avantos' continued growth across wealth management. Moore has more than a decade of experience helping wealth management firms manage growth, technology adoption and business transformation. At Betterment, he was instrumental in building and scaling the company's wealth and retirement businesses by developing deep partnerships across the industry. "Financial institutions are increasingly looking beyond individual products, channels and business lines to understand the full client relationship," said Rabih Ramadi, co-founder and co-CEO of Avantos. "The convergence of wealth, retirement, workplace benefits, banking and insurance creates significant opportunities for firms that can better identify client needs and deliver the right products and services at the right time. "Hemang's experience connecting client relationships across channels at Morgan Stanley, combined with Thomas' track record building and scaling successful wealth businesses, will accelerate Avantos' expansion across the financial services industry.," Ramadi said. Osaic Osaic, a large provider of wealth management strategies, has announced that Midwest Financial Group (MFG) has joined its network. MFG's team, which oversees $450 million in assets under advisement (AuA), was previously affiliated with Commonwealth. It includes five advisors and financial planners, along with support staff and Medicare, tax and employee benefits teams. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, MFG has served families in Wisconsin and across the US for nearly 35 years, building a model that brings financial planning, wealth management, tax and accounting, insurance, Medicare and employee benefits together under one roof. Matt Cuplin (pictured), CEO and president, and Brandon Masbruch, CIO and vice president, have led the firm for nearly 10 years, continuing to expand its capabilities and coordinated approach to serving clients. "Our team has never been stronger, and our capabilities have continued to evolve," said Cuplin. "Joining Osaic gives us another opportunity to build for the future while staying true to the relationship-driven approach that has defined our team for nearly 35 years." Through its affiliation with Osaic, MFG will have access to technology, wealth management, operational and business development resources designed to support advisor efficiency and long-term growth. Osaic's platform provides financial professionals with flexible technology and investment solutions, back-office support, and resources for practice growth and succession planning. "Midwest Financial Group has built a differentiated, integrated business around the needs of the families it serves," said Shannon Reid, president of Osaic and head of advisor growth and engagement. "That entrepreneurial, client-focused approach is exactly what we want to support at Osaic."
