What believers are saying

  • Engineers practice installation: DEW's August 2026 training announcement describes project engineers fitting windows, weather barriers and flashing.
  • Field advancement has precedent: DEW's Vermont general superintendent progressed from carpenter's helper through carpenter, foreman and superintendent roles.
  • DEW considers equivalent experience instead of degrees for Manchester's full-time quality-control role, requiring 5-7 quality-control years or requisite field experience.

What critics are saying

  • Experienced entry only: DEW's full-time Manchester field carpenters need construction experience and an exceptional safety record.
  • Travel remains required: DEW's full-time Manchester preconstruction managers must travel occasionally.
  • Qualified subcontractors underpin delivery: DEW requires initial assessments and annual requalification to meet client, insurer and bonding-company requirements.

What makes DEW Construction unique

  • DEW connects field imagery with planning: its construction toolkit includes live webcams, drone photography and three-dimensional scanning.
  • Funding extends beyond bank loans: DEW Properties pursues community-development tax credits for qualifying projects.
  • DEW combines construction and accounting records: office and field teams use integrated project-management and accounting software.
