OVERVIEW:
SharkNinja, a multi-billion-dollar consumer products company, is seeking a Category Demand Planning Analyst for its North America business. Based in Needham, MA, or remote for qualified candidates. We are seeking a talented Category Demand Planning Analyst to join our team. Your role will involve estimating future demand for our organization’s products within specific categories. By analyzing inventory flow and collaborating with various teams, you will ensure that we can efficiently supply consumers based on anticipated demands. The Category Demand Planning Analyst must be a proactive, action-oriented individual with the ability to quickly solve problems. This individual must have a burning desire to “Positively Impact People’s Lives”.

- Forecasting and Modeling:
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends, historical sales data, and demand patterns.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to produce accurate forecasts for the assigned category.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Support management by assessing risks related to demand fluctuations.
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance demand forecast accuracy.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and report changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance to adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Effective Communication:
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to leadership.
- Address demand-related issues promptly and effectively.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- (5+) years demand planning or supply chain experience.
- Strategic leader and critical thinker who makes analytical and data-driven decisions informed by leveraging multiple sources of internal and external consumer, competitor, market, product, and financial data
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve targeted results that are relevant to the organization.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy & ability to reconcile various data elements.
- Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant training and certifications as a Demand Planner.
- Unpretentious confidence. Communicate transparently – listen actively and speak respectfully.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a dynamic, fun, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in consumer products industry is a plus.
- Experience with both B2B and D2C a plus
