About the job
- Experience in a similar position is desired.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Knowledge of FOLS, Opera Cloud, and RESAWEB is an advantage.
- Autonomy, versatility, and a strong team spirit are expected.
- Welcome and assist guests attentively from arrival through departure while maintaining guest satisfaction and service quality and contributing to the department’s qualitative and quantitative objectives.
- Build customer loyalty through warm, personalized service and anticipate guests’ needs.
- Handle concierge requests, including taxi and restaurant reservations.
- Address guest objections and comments and respond as promptly as possible.
- Represent the hotel’s image and honor reservation commitments.
- Perform guest arrival and departure operations in accordance with internal procedures.
- Inform guests about stay conditions, formalities, and hotel services.
- Manage telephone calls and email requests.
- Apply internal audit procedures.
- Share necessary information with other departments and colleagues in the service team.
- Take reservations and promote hotel services to optimize sales.
- Promote the brand or group loyalty program and adapt sales arguments to guest needs.
- Follow billing and payment procedures, manage the assigned cash float, and prepare and track invoices for miscellaneous debtors.
- Provide bar service and keep the workplace clean.
- Apply hotel safety procedures, including fire and evacuation procedures, and protect people and property.
- Follow the establishment’s environmental charter, including energy conservation, recycling, and waste sorting.
- A third language is an advantage.
