About the job
- Experience in a similar position is desired.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Knowledge of FOLS, Opera Cloud, and RESAWEB is a plus.
- Autonomy, versatility, and a strong team-oriented approach are expected.
- Welcome and assist guests attentively from arrival through departure, contributing to their ongoing satisfaction and ensuring the hotel's service quality and the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the department.
- Build guest loyalty through warm, personalized interactions.
- Recognize and anticipate guests' needs.
- Handle concierge requests, including taxi and restaurant reservations.
- Manage guest objections and feedback, responding as promptly as possible.
- Represent the hotel's image.
- Honor all reservation commitments.
- Handle guest arrivals and departures according to internal procedures.
- Inform guests about stay conditions, formalities, and hotel services.
- Manage telephone calls and email requests.
- Apply internal audit procedures.
- Share necessary information with other departments, including housekeeping and technical services, and with other team members.
- Process reservations.
- Promote hotel services to optimize sales.
- Promote the brand and/or Group loyalty program and adapt sales arguments to guests' needs.
- Follow billing and payment-collection procedures.
- Manage the assigned cash float.
- Prepare and track invoices for miscellaneous debtors.
- Provide bar service.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Know and follow hotel safety procedures, including fire and evacuation procedures.
- Protect the safety of people and property.
- Follow the property's Environmental Charter commitments, including energy conservation, recycling, and waste sorting.
- A third language is a plus.
