Q3 updates from Bigin: Sequences, OS 27 upgrades, payment links, and more! Published on: Oct 12, 2026 Last Updated on: Oct 12, 2026 3 Mins Read CopyURL copied successfully Hello! And welcome back to another round of quarterly updates from the world of Bigin, the easy, affordable, and powerful CRM. Q3 was all about taking the busywork off your plate. From follow-ups that run themselves to payments that collect themselves (and a little recognition from Apple along the way), there's a lot to unpack. Let's dive in! Sequences: Automate your entire follow-up process. No more missed emails. No more pending follow-ups. No more leads gone cold. With Bigin's easy-to-set-up Sequences, you can create a series of automated, response-based follow-ups, whether it's sending an email, scheduling a call, or creating a task, to engage your leads and customers at the right time! Here's how it plays out. Say a lead comes in through an Instagram ad. As soon as they land in Bigin, a welcome email goes out to them. Most automations stop there. Sequences keeps going, deciding the next step based on what the lead does. Did they reply? Your rep gets a task to respond within the hour. Did the email go unopened? A follow-up lands in their inbox the next day. Similarly, you can build an entire sequence of automated actions that follows up with leads, runs promotional campaigns, re-engages contacts who've gone quiet, and even sends renewal reminders before a subscription runs out! Apple x Bigin: Personalized AI meets a powerful CRM. With Apple's latest release, Bigin has leveled up across the entire Apple ecosystem. Ask Siri about your business, let Apple Intelligence plan your next move, track your schedule right from your Apple Watch, and even generate product images with a single prompt! And here's the cherry on top: Apple hand-picked Bigin as one of the best apps adapted for iOS 27! Payment Links: Automate payment collection with a host of new gateways. Bigin now integrates with 10+ payment gateways, including Zoho Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Paytm, Verifone, and more! Zoho Corporation has also brought in smart automation to make the entire payment collection process effortless. From generating and sharing payment links the moment a deal closes to following up on unpaid invoices and updating the deal as soon as the payment comes through, Zoho Corporation has automated it all. Getting paid has never been this easy! Booking Pages: Add a personal touch to every booking. If you've been using Booking Pages to share your availability and let leads and customers book meetings with you, you've probably seen the appointments rolling in! Now you can make every one of those interactions feel more personal. Customize the confirmation, cancellation, rescheduling, and reminder emails your customers receive, so every message sounds like it's coming straight from you. Plus, you can now create Booking Pages right from the Bigin Android app, so setting up a new one takes just a few taps, wherever you are! Products: Import faster and see everything a customer has bought. You can now bulk import products and link them to their deals in one go, no more associating them one at a time. And with the new Related Products topping, you can open any contact or company record and see every product they've bought across all their deals, totals included. So you'll know exactly what a customer has purchased before you even pick up the phone! With that, Zoho Corporation wrap up Q3 2026! It's been a quarter packed with automation, and Zoho Corporation can't wait to see how you put these features to work. As always, keep an eye on its release notes for every update, and check out its product roadmap to see what's coming next. Zoho Corporation is heading into the final quarter of the year, and trust Zoho Corporation, Zoho Corporation is saving some of the best for last. Stay tuned!
Nayax partners with Allied for gas sales; Partner Tech's self checkout for gas stations. The processor Nayax Ltd. said it has reached a distribution partnership with Allied Electronics Inc., allowing Nayax Fuel to offer its VPOS Media 5 outdoor payment technology to fueling stations throughout the U.S. market. The announcement comes as cards now account for 81% of pump transactions, up from 64% 10 years ago, according to the National Association of Convenience Stores. Israel-based Nayax, an active payments provider in North America, is looking to its VPOS Media 5 technology as part of its pitch to the fuel market, much of which is associated with convenience stores. C-stores accounted for $450 billion in fuel sales last year, according to the National Association of Convenience Stores. Nayax's latest move in the petroleum business follows its acquisition in 2022 of On Track Innovations, a deal that included OTI's PetroSmart unit. In 2024, the company acquired Roseman Engineering, a deal that brought further technology related to the gasoline market, including automated vehicle identification capabilities. "Allied and Nayax share an important focus on making the forecourt work better for retailers," says Eli Bar, general manager for Nayax Fuel. "Allied is one of the most respected names in US fuel retail, and our payment technology and solution give its customers a fuel-specific option." Bristol, Pa.-based Allied's forecourt controller operates at what the company says amounts to "tens of thousands of locations" in the U.S. Nayax's latest move in gas-station sales follows an announcement last week by the processor Toast that it has launched Toast Fuel to process payments for convenience stores in-store and at the pump. In related news, Partner Tech announced its AI-based self-checkout technology has been certified to be integrated with Verifone Commander, Verifone's site controller and point-of-sale unit for convenience stores and gas stations. The development means the technology can be installed at more than 55,000 convenience and fuel locations, Partner Tech says. Based in Taiwan, the company maintains its Americas headquarters in Anaheim, Calif. Partner Tech says the product is available immediately. "By combining Verifone's Commander platform with Partner Tech's AI-powered self-checkout technology, retailers can modernize the in-store experience while protecting profitability," says James Hervey, executive vice president of petro at Verifone, in a statement
Partner Tech has earned certification for integration with Verifone Commander, the leading point-of-sale platform for convenience stores and fuel retailers. The certification enables deployment of Partner Tech's AI-powered self-checkout systems across more than 55,000 fuel and convenience sites in North America, representing roughly 45% of all US fuel and convenience stores. The self-checkout platform uses AI and computer vision for theft detection, real-time transaction monitoring, and automatic item recognition. Retailers can add Partner Tech's terminals alongside existing Verifone Commander systems without replacing their payment, fueling, or loyalty infrastructure. The solution supports fuel prepay, age-restricted products, and other convenience store functions whilst managing operations through a centralised site controller. Partner Tech will showcase the certified system at the NACS Show in October 2026.
Verifone announces Commander product advancements and new collaborations that expand Petro and convenience store ecosystem. October 05, 2026 09:00 ET | Source: Verifone New Verifone Commander products designed expand routes to growth for partners across convenience stores and gas stations; Offerings let convenience store and fuel retailers consolidate operations onto one cloud-connected footprint; Verifone collaborates with YouLend to offer financing for Commander products LAS VEGAS, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Verifone, a global leader in payments and commerce technologies, today announced strategic product enhancements at the NACS Show to drive growth, customer satisfaction and revenue for its convenience and fuel retail partners. "Fuel and convenience retailers are under pressure from every direction - rising costs, tightening compliance, and customers who expect more from every visit," said James Hervey, EVP of Petro at Verifone. "Most stations now make the bulk of their profit from what's inside the store, not from what's at the pump. That means operators need one system that talks to all of it - sales, inventory, and the customer experience. Commander gives them that system, so they spend less time managing technology and more time running their business." The announcement spotlights key pillars of Verifone's unified ecosystem, which lets convenience and fuel retailers unify their operations under one cloud-connected footprint, is designed to eliminate disjointed point-of-sale hardware. At the NACS show, Verifone will unveil the following innovations, designed to help businesses advance to the next stage of their payments journey: * Verifone Commander Convenience: An all-in-one, bundled solution for convenience stores. The solution lets standalone retailers manage complex tasks from lotteries and loyalty integrations to digital age verification all with the same speed, reliability, and security trusted by major global fueling networks without the need for a backroom server. * Commander Fleet: An integration that puts commercial fleet card acceptance on a single primary point-of-sale (POS) terminal, letting truck stops and consumer fuel stations with diesel islands run fleet and retail payments on one POS platform. Commander Fleet processes fleet cards from major networks like WEX, Comdata, Multi Service, Mudflap, QuikQ and Piston Technologies Inc. alongside every consumer payment type. By eliminating the industry's need for separate, bulky checkout hardware and overlapping software licenses, it lowers a merchant's total cost of ownership, reduces employee training times, and speeds lane throughput for commercial drivers. Commander Fleet also brings every transaction into one report, so operators can reconcile fleet and retail sales together instead of pulling data from two systems. * Commander Capital: A flexible merchant financing program, powered by YouLend, that changes how retailers access operational funding. Rather than navigating rigid underwriting and application processes, Commander Capital auto-qualifies eligible merchants based on active payment volumes and store performance. Approved funds can be deployed in as little as 24 hours to replace store equipment, invest in food service kiosks, or refresh inventory, with automated daily repayments that flex as a small percentage of credit card sales. "C-stores and gas stations face a unique combination of cash-flow volatility and substantial upfront capital requirements," said Ted Kirk, U.S. Country Head for YouLend. "By providing working capital to these businesses, YouLend and Verifone help them serve customers, plan for the future, and drive growth." Partnerships to Fuel Your Business The company also announced new partnerships that extend the ecosystem's capabilities and market reach across the commercial fleet area, including: Multi Service Fuel Card: With more than 45 years of trucking-industry trust, the Multi Service Fuel Card adds a long-standing, widely accepted trucking fuel card option to the Commander Fleet portfolio, simplifying fuel management for fleet operators. "As the first live-authorization fuel card for over-the-road commercial fleets, our card carries a long-standing legacy of trust and reliability in the trucking industry," said Aaron Decker, CEO of Multi Service Fuel Card. "Together with Commander Fleet, acceptance transitions from the pump to the point of sale without added hardware or extra steps. Drivers fuel up. Fleets get real-time visibility. Everyone gets back on the road faster." Mudflap: The original cardless fleet payment platform for trucking, bringing hundreds of thousands of commercial drivers to Commander Fleet locations with secure app and card-based payments. QuikQ: QuikQ is a full-service fuel payment, digital payment and fraud prevention solutions provider. The company's streamlined approach to transactions reduces fees and creates a more direct, transparent relationship among merchants, carriers and payment providers. "QuikQ was built on the idea that payments in the trucking industry should be more efficient, more affordable and built around the customer," said Jon Russell, CEO of QuikQ. "Working with Verifone puts that idea in front of more merchants and drivers. Merchants get fleet acceptance built into technology they already run, and drivers get a faster, simpler stop." Piston Technologies Inc.: Brings a new payment network for commercial fleets to Commander Fleet, expanding payment acceptance for fuel retailers serving trucking and logistics companies. The integration lets merchants to accept Piston payments and serve its fleet customers through the Verifone platform they already use. "We run fleets ourselves, and we built Piston because the solution we needed didn't exist. Our cardless network connects fleets directly with site owners through Verifone Commander, removing the card and the intermediaries' fleets have paid for over decades," said Vikram Sekhon, Co-founder & CEO, Piston Technologies Inc. "Fleets lose fewer gallons to fraud and save more at the pump. Retailers gain commercial volume and the in-store spend that comes with it." Verifone will have a strong presence at the NACS Show 2026, speaking (in TruAge booth) on "Can Self-Checkout Sell Age-Restricted Products Safely?" and hosting live in-booth solution demonstrations at the Verifone booth #C5924. Setting up for Sunrise 2027. Take these steps to prepare for the transition to 2D barcodes. A new kind of barcode showing up on packaging has the potential to benefit retailers and consumers through one big factor: data. Capable of holding significantly more information than traditional UPC barcodes, 2D barcodes are becoming a common feature on product packaging. While consumers may not know them by name, most are already familiar with one type of 2D barcode: the QR code. Retailers are already talking to payments solutions provider Verifone about the 2D barcodes. The barcodes' ability to hold more information can be helpful to operators, letting them know which items need to be removed during a recall or when an item is expiring, according to Anil Bhat, head of product for the petroleum group at Verifone. "They're definitely very excited about both of these," Bhat said. But before retailers can run with these new capabilities, the convenience industry needs to finish walking through the transition. "Our industry is, to some extent, notorious for procrastinating until the last minute," Bhat said. So why is putting off this particular transition not a good idea? "One is the capital investment, if they have to make it," he said. "And as these barcodes become more common, you may run the risk of some products transitioning away from traditional UPC-only labeling sooner rather than later." GS1 US is the not-for-profit leading Sunrise 2027, an industry initiative to prepare retail systems to scan 2D barcodes at the point of sale by the end of 2027. GS1 US and Verifone are connected through their partnership with Conexxus, the industry's technology standards group. "We work very closely with Conexxus to ensure that they understand and interpret our standards for Sunrise 2027 and are properly implementing that in line with what their industry needs," said Lindsay Hillman, director of global standards at GS1 US. A number of products on the market today already carry 2D barcodes, primarily in the health and beauty space, Hillman said. "We are starting to see more consumer packaged goods, more food brands, more c-store related products adopting 2D barcodes powered by GS1," she said. While working with retailers, the organization often points out that being ready for Sunrise 2027 helps the brands that are putting the 2D barcodes on packaging. "Retailer readiness can help create the confidence brands need to move forward with packaging changes and 2D barcode adoption," Hillman said. "By configuring point of sale systems now, you're able to support a brand through testing the newly implemented 2D barcodes building a clear partnership since you sell those products every day, it's a good way to support brands through their adoption process. Another benefit to that support is understanding what information they are including in their 2D barcode enabling you to utilize all the information that they're providing earlier." For now, the 2D barcodes are expected to be co-located on packaging with the UPC barcode until retailer readiness to read 2D barcodes reaches about 90% to 95%. "This is a sunrise, not a sunset; we do not anticipate the UPC to disappear overnight," Hillman said.
