Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience and at least 5 years of mobile technology development experience.
- Extensive proficiency in Java, Objective-C, and Swift.
- Solid experience developing applications with source-control tools and strategies, including trunks, branches, merges, tagging, and release-management methods.
- Proven experience interfacing with application programming interfaces and web services.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in small teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to serve as a technical evangelist when needed.
- An eye for design details and user experience.
- Extensive experience with technical architecture, design, and requirements documentation.
- Ability to architect and write reusable libraries for development teams.
- Ability to communicate project status to project leads verbally, by email, or in team meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with flexibility.
- Ability to communicate with project managers and leads to determine project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations in line with overall strategy.
- Ability to participate in ideation and visualization sessions for original application ideas.
- Extensive experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop application architecture and mobile applications for Android and iOS phones and tablets.
- Build scalable applications and frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.
- Work closely with onsite and occasionally offshore development teams.
- Communicate current project status to project leads.
- Communicate with project managers and leads regarding project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Participate in ideation and visualization sessions for original application ideas.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with streaming on mobile platforms and HTTP Live Streaming technology.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Experience with software outsourcing for international projects.
- Experience with mobile quality assurance and user-interface automation testing.
