About the role
We are excited to recruit for a Finance Manager – Digital, who will be a crucial member of the Digital Finance function, reporting into the Head of Finance.
The Finance Manager will be crucial in providing financial insights and actionable recommendations to support the successful growth and delivery of charlottetilbury.com global market results. The right candidate be a skilled finance professional with a can-do attitude, with experience in delivering efficiency and accuracy improvements to strengthen the daily financial management of the Digital Finance Function.
Business partnering is core to the success of this role, which will work alongside the Digital Trade and Online Marketing Teams, including the Director of Digital. The role will also need to support Group level requests from the UK Head Office, ensuring key deliverables are met.
As a Finance Manager – Digital you will
- Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of Digital Finance month-end
- Oversee the delivery of monthly P&Ls for charlottetilbury.com with commentary on deviations to forecast, presenting a monthly update to senior leadership
- Regular review of Balance Sheet accounts for the Digital Finance Team, driving best practice in this area
- Support the Senior Finance Analyst in their day-to-day deliverables, including sales reporting, spend tracker management, and cost centre reporting
- Delivery of the Global Digital Revenue budgets and forecasts, according to regionalised timetables. Driving continuous improvement and accuracy in this area
- Delivery of the Global Online Marketing budgets and forecasts, according to regionalised timetables
- Support Digital Trade and Online Marketing Teams with the creation and review of commercial, OPEX and CAPEX business cases to protect EBITDA before presentation into the Head of Finance for sign off
- Post investment analysis and feeding back to Senior Finance Leadership Team and Director of Digital to discuss results of ROI analysis and detail lessons learned
- Frequently review key processes; recommend actions to improve and implement as appropriate
- Oversight of OPEX/CAPEX cost trackers and setting guidance on tracker management
- The smooth implementation and adoption of new initiatives in the Finance and Digital space
- Developing Digital Senior Finance Analyst, setting objectives and ensure clear career pathing and opportunities for development are put in place
About you
- A natural leader – you’ll be passionate about inspiring, developing and leading an ‘A-star’ team
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards is essential
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Experienced finance professional ideally from a retail/FMCG background, preferably with Digital specific knowledge
- Proven experience in running month-end and forecast cycles
- Commercial and analytical mindset
- Experience working and communicating with different levels and different teams
- Advanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc)
- Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
