Requirements
- Experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, or in a similar position is desired.
- Experience designing and defining software architectures is desired.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure is desired.
- Experience with Serverless architectures and services is desired.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles is desired.
- Backend development experience with Node.js and/or .NET is desired.
- Knowledge of Kotlin is desired.
- Experience designing, building, consuming, and integrating APIs is desired.
- Knowledge of design patterns, development best practices, and software engineering principles is desired.
- Experience using Git and modern collaborative development workflows is desired.
- Ability to evaluate technology alternatives and make decisions considering scalability, security, maintainability, and performance is desired.
- Ability to analyze problems, resolve issues, and make decisions is desired.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
- Availability to work primarily remotely and attend offices in Colima or Guadalajara when required is desired.
- Must reside in Colima, Guadalajara, or an area that allows in-person attendance at either location when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and evolution of software solutions.
- Participate in defining and designing scalable, maintainable, and secure technology architectures.
- Define technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
- Design and oversee solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
- Participate in designing and implementing Serverless architectures and cloud-based solutions.
- Incorporate DevSecOps practices into the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Technically guide backend solution development using Node.js and .NET.
- Participate in integrating and developing components or services related to Kotlin.
- Design, build, and oversee integrations through APIs.
- Apply and promote appropriate design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Use Git for version control and promote good collaboration and code-review practices.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to developers.
- Identify technical risks, technical debt, and opportunities to improve solutions.
- Collaborate with development, product, and other stakeholder teams to turn business needs into technology solutions.
- Help resolve complex technical problems and support the team in architecture decisions.
