Requirements
  • B.A. or B.S. (preferred discipline in biological sciences, economics, engineering, biostatistics or similar)
  • 4+ years of client-facing experience delivering products, services or analyses to biopharma companies
  • Advanced degree in a biological science (e.g., PhD), applied health (e.g., MPH), or business (e.g., MBA) with 3+ years of strategic client engagement/business development
  • Independently owns book-of-work and/or end-to-end client management for a biopharma account(s) with minimal oversight
  • At least 1+ years of experience leading/supporting sales of product/services to biopharma
  • Experience leading end-to-end sales of products/services (lead generation, pitching, contract negotiation)
  • Exposure to project work in oncology
  • Understands biopharma industry dynamics across stages of drug development cycle / value chain and familiar with biopharma org structure
  • Experience working in team or cross-functional settings and has a strong willingness to collaborate
  • Detail oriented with a strong desire to develop content expertise (e.g., RWE, clinical oncology, HEOR)
  • Able to navigate ambiguity
Responsibilities
  • Grow revenue at existing biopharma partners
  • Support development of new business proposals
  • Become a subject matter expert on biopharma partners portfolio and research priorities
  • Support Flatiron’s strategic approach to long term partnerships with biopharma users of our research offerings
  • Become a subject matter expert on Flatiron’s offerings and reliably represent our capabilities to advance the research priorities of our biopharma partners
  • Support our partners in their use of Flatiron’s research offerings
  • Support advancement of internal Flatiron initiatives and priorities
  • Act as the voice of the customer across internal functional groups
