About the job

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in Digital Product Design or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience designing products where the digital experience is directly shaped by or integrated with a physical product or device, such as automotive, wearables, consumer electronics, smart home, or robotics; purely app- or web-only design is insufficient.
  • At least 3 years designing customer-facing digital products in an in-house product organization, with direct ownership of shipped features used by real customers at scale; agency, consultancy, or freelance work does not meet this criterion.
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant product design commercial organizations.
  • At least 2 years of experience working across a triad of designers, engineers, and product managers.
  • Strength in systems thinking and mapping end-to-end customer journeys.
  • High proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools to create customer flows and presentations that bring design ideas to life.
  • Ability to deliver design solutions integrating user experience, visual design, content, research, and technical constraints into cohesive, user-focused experiences.
  • Ability to work within current frameworks, design systems, and product requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while building collaborative relationships across partnering functions.
  • A portfolio showcasing thoughtfully crafted design projects and an understanding of user experience principles and design processes.
Responsibilities
  • Translate early concepts into thorough, thoughtful, testable design solutions and prototypes.
  • Define customer experiences and interactions across physical and digital experiences, and processes that connect new features into cohesive solutions.
  • Partner with engineers, technologists, and studio design to explore solutions and feasibility, rapidly iterate and test ideas, and refine concepts.
  • Collaborate across design, engineering, and product teams to ensure experiences align with customer needs, technical realities, and business objectives.
  • Distill complex information into clear strategies, frameworks, and narratives that drive alignment and promote ongoing execution through delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies into meaningful, customer-driven experiences.
  • Craft, coordinate, and present to leadership and executives through ongoing review cycles in partnership with product, engineering, and research partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exceptional visual design skills and proficiency in human-centered design approaches.
  • Experience in user experience, interaction, and experience design within complex ecosystems.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous spaces where outcomes are not yet defined.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving demands and pivot efforts toward new directions and goals.
  • Experience leveraging design systems and existing patterns while also thinking blue-sky.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and manage work independently.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and build bridges between design, engineering, and strategy.
  • Ability to travel to various office locations to experience prototypes and hardware in person.

Six high-yield dividend stocks fail the payout test, from Ford to Whirlpool's 9.37% mirage

High dividend yields can hide weak payouts, and a four-step test helps separate real income from traps. It checks earnings with one-offs stripped out, full-year free cash flow against dividends, management's explanation, and whether debt funds the gap. Ford yields 4.99% and shows a trailing EPS of -$1.88, caused by $4.2B in one-time charges. Its debt-to-equity of 4.66 leaves the $0.60 dividend exposed to a downturn. Pfizer yields 6.03%, but its free cash flow yield is 5.60%. Clorox's roughly $405M of free cash flow fell short of about $601M in dividends. Whirlpool fails every step. It cut its quarterly dividend from $1.75 to $0.90 in 2025, paid no common dividend in the second quarter of 2026, and its shares are down 59.48% since the end of 2025. 3M and Dow pass, with payouts now covered by cash.

UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz and Ford dividends at risk as payouts outstrip earnings

Four blue chip companies, UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz, and Ford, may struggle to sustain their dividends, according to an analysis of their earnings, cash flow, and debt. UPS yields 7.02% and pays out about 121% of its GAAP earnings. Pfizer yields 6.10%, with a GAAP payout ratio of about 226%; its 2025 free cash flow of $9.076 billion fell short of $9.771 billion in dividends. Kraft Heinz yields 6.82%, but its trailing GAAP earnings per share are −$2.88 after $7.4 billion in impairments. Ford yields 4.98% after an $8.162 billion loss in 2025, and its debt-to-equity ratio is 4.66. All four companies say their payouts are safe, and each points to adjusted earnings guidance that covers the dividend.

Seven S&P 500 stocks need 200%+ rallies to reclaim all-time highs

Seven major S&P 500 companies with market capitalizations exceeding $20 billion need to rally at least 200% to reach their previous all-time highs, according to Bespoke. The struggling firms include PG&E, PayPal, Ford, Nike, Las Vegas Sands, Zoetis, and Crown Castle. Nike has experienced particularly poor performance, with the company's stock trading at record lows and its dividend yield approaching 5%. Recent quarterly results showed Nike Brand sales fell 4%, online sales dropped 13%, Converse sales declined 28%, and China sales crashed 26%. CEO Elliott Hill indicated that weakness in the sportswear market would persist. PayPal faces intense competition in the payments sector. New CEO Enrique Lores reportedly declined a buyout offer from Stripe and will focus on cost reductions and improving customer experience.
