Responsibilities
  • Support the finance and accounts payable departments by preparing and reconciling financial records and assisting with audits.
  • Enter invoices, review vendor accounts, process weekly vendor payments, manage banking activity, and perform assigned general ledger account reconciliations and associated transactions and processes.
  • Assist with the general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting processes while adhering to the monthly and year-end financial statement close schedule.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, analyze account balances for variances, and reconcile financial transactions, general ledger balances, financial records, and reports.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through proper application of accounting principles and adherence to relevant regulations, including generally accepted accounting principles and healthcare-specific guidelines.
  • Assist in the annual budget process.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in internal and external financial audits as needed.
  • Partner with leaders and other departments to improve financial processes and support organizational goals.
  • Identify and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial statements, and cash flow.
  • Experience in a private equity setting and healthcare.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification.
