Requirements
  • Experience servicing HVAC products and equipment.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect, maintain, and document service, repairs, and maintenance for company vehicles.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, and duration records.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and the required timing.
  • Ability to record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment and return unused resources.
  • Ability to submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to stay current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to meet regular travel requirements, including some overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
  • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling service, and completing repairs and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Complete job paperwork for each job and maintain related files.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Determine parts to order for repairs and the timing of the need.
  • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
