Stockholm exchange expected to open lower after busy earnings morning. Published on 10/22/2026 at 02:43 am EDT Finwire - Translated by Marketscreener - See original The Stockholm exchange looks set to open Thursday after a busy flow of earnings reports. Euro Stoxx 50 futures are down 1.13 percent, FTSE 100 futures are down 0.52 percent and DAX futures are down 0.83 percent. Major bank SEB reported third-quarter operating profit that was below analysts' expectations. Revenue also came in below consensus, primarily due to weaker net trading income. The board has also decided to pause further buybacks, citing continued loan growth and temporarily higher capital requirements from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. Full-year costs are expected to be lower than the previous target. Major bank Swedbank reported third-quarter results that were roughly in line with expectations. The common equity Tier 1 ratio was 17.2 percent (19.7). Telecom operator Telia raised its forecast for adjusted EBITDA growth to 3-4 percent, from approximately 3 percent previously. Free cash flow is expected to amount to at least SEK 9bn, compared with approximately SEK 9bn previously. Adjusted EBITDA for Q3 was in line with expectations. Telecom company Nokia's adjusted operating profit was 31 percent higher than expected in Q3. The company reiterated its forecast for adjusted operating profit of €2.1-2.6bn for full-year 2026. The company expects earnings to come in above the midpoint of the range. Sandvik reported both higher revenue and better-than-expected adjusted EBITA for the third quarter. Essity beat expectations for adjusted earnings. Revenue rose in line with consensus. Technology consultancy Afry surprised with higher-than-expected adjusted EBITA. The order book increased, while cash flow from operating activities fell sharply. The company reiterated its financial targets for 2028. Hexatronic's adjusted EBITA clearly exceeded expectations. All business areas grew organically, and Data Center more than doubled its revenue. Dometic reported better-than-expected revenue and adjusted EBITA. Net income was weighed down by a large goodwill impairment. Mask writer company Mycronic raised its forecast for full-year net sales from SEK 9.25bn to SEK 9.75bn. Q3 figures were significantly better than expected. Residential property platform Hemnet reported higher-than-expected EBITDA for Q3. Revenue declined but was in line with expectations. The lower revenue was partly explained by the Sell First, Pay Later service, where revenue is recognized only when the property is sold. The company expects the deferred revenue to be realized in coming periods. Outside the earnings season, it was noted that private equity firm CVC is considering making a bid for alarm company Verisure and taking the company private, approximately one year after its Stockholm listing. The Financial Times reported this, citing sources. Pharmacy company Meds Apotek said the move to its new logistics center in Eskilstuna weighed on revenue and operating profit more than previously estimated during the third quarter. The negative revenue impact is preliminarily estimated at approximately SEK 50m, compared with the previously expected SEK 25m. The impact on operating profit, excluding IFRS leasing, is estimated at approximately SEK 9m, compared with the previously forecast SEK 6m. Among this morning's recommendation changes, SEB downgraded Husqvarna to sell from hold. Handelsbanken also upgraded Getinge to buy from hold. | / | Price | Change today | Time | | Euro Stoxx 50 futures | 6 150,00 | -1,13% | 08:22:00 | | FTSE 100 futures | 10 729,50 | -0,54% | 08:26:53 | | DAX futures | 25 555,00 | -0,83% | 08:21:55 | | S&P 500 futures | 7 733,75 | -0,85% | 08:26:59 | | Nasdaq 100 futures | 29 531,25 | -1,59% | 08:26:53 | | Sweden 10 Y | 3,18% | 0,00 | 16:18:03 | | Germany 10 Y | 3,43% | 0,00 | 08:36:56 | | US 10 Y | 5,08% | -0,04 | 08:36:49 | | UK 10 Y | 5,37% | 0,00 | 18:00:04 | | Italy 10 Y | 4,64% | 0,08 | 08:36:47 | | France 10 Y | 5,05% | 0,05 | 08:36:57 | | Spain 10 Y | 4,07% | 0,00 | 17:08:04 | | Norway 10 Y | 4,52% | 0,00 | 16:00:03 | | Denmark 10 Y | 3,21% | 0,00 | 08:36:44 | | EUR/USD | 1,1245 | 0,0012 | 08:36:55 | | USD/JPY | 157,0940 | -1,0440 | 08:36:53 | | USD/SEK | 9,8860 | 0,0003 | 08:36:57 | | EUR/SEK | 11,1175 | 0,0119 | 08:36:56 | | GBP/SEK | 13,2515 | 0,0088 | 08:36:55 | | USD/NOK | 9,3503 | -0,0140 | 08:36:57 | | EUR/NOK | 10,5145 | -0,0054 | 08:36:57 | | NOK/SEK | 1,0573 | 0,0014 | 08:36:54 | | USD/DKK | 6,6475 | -0,0071 | 08:36:52 | | DKK/SEK | 1,4874 | 0,0018 | 08:36:54 | | Brent, USD/barrel | 111,63 | 2,58% | 08:26:57 | | WTI, USD/barrel | 99,40 | 2,32% | 08:26:54 | | Natural gas, USD/mmbtu | 2,76 | -0,97% | 08:26:51 | | Dutch TTF natural gas (NDEX), euro/mwh | 88,66 | 1,40% | 08:26:53 | | Gold futures, USD/oz | 4 110,90 | -0,94% | 08:26:53 | | Silver futures, USD/oz | 56,36 | -2,34% | 08:26:41 | | Source: Factset | / | / | / | (C) Finwire - 2026
