This is a prospecting, client facing, pre-sales role!
The ideal candidate will have a background in selling, supporting or implementing financial-oriented technology solutions to mid-to-large sized companies. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with Finance, Accounts Payable and Travel professionals through individual conversations, group presentations and product demonstrations. Internal collaboration will be expected across the sales, implementation and product organizations.
Essential Functions
- Knowledgeable in specific Products / Solutions in the Emburse family
- Knowledgeable in a specific industry or vertical
- Strategize with sales to identify the most effective approach that will result in the prospect preferring and buying from Emburse versus the competition
- Research, prepare and deliver solution demonstrations by understanding prospect requirements and aligning them with Emburse’s best practices demonstration flow
- Deliver onsite and remote presentations and demonstrations of Emburse products and services
- Provide technical understanding of our products with the ability to discuss product architecture, etc.
- Assist in creating materials for training and adoption of features and functions with an eye towards how it solves prospect problems
- Support RFPs, Security Questionnaires, Trial set-up
- Work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment to achieve business goals
- Accomplish targeted performance objectives with a positive attitude
- Available for extensive travel, short trips usually one to three days duration
- Assist at trade shows, user conferences, and sales meetings as required
Education
- Preferred: BA/BS degree preferred, experience may substitute
Experience
- 5+ years experience in selling, supporting or implementing SaaS solutions required
- 3+ years as a Solutions Consultant with SaaS solutions required
- Preferred - 5-7 years experience in selling, supporting or implementing SaaS solutions preferred
- Preferred - Proficient in software demonstration techniques and tools
- Preferred - Previous experience with Travel solutions, Expense and/or A/P automation
