About the company

Precharm is an algorithmic trading firm that provides liquidity to prediction markets. It uses quantitative trading to run market-making and other liquidity-providing strategies, earning revenue from the performance of its trading models. The product is automated, data-driven trading in prediction markets, supported by risk management and market microstructure analysis to handle high-velocity trading. Its goal is to become a defining winner in prediction markets by building a scalable, profitable liquidity provision business with a small, agile team in New York City.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • On 2026-05-03, Minh Tri Pham said Precharm traded profitably with no outside capital.
  • Prediction markets are one of finance's fastest-growing niches, expanding venue and product count.
  • Hiring a founding quant trader on 2026-07-28 signals active strategy scaling now.

What critics are saying

  • On 2026-09-04, Precharm still showed no funding, limiting balance-sheet firepower.
  • Prediction-market regulation remains fragile; a CFTC enforcement shift can crush venue access quickly.
  • If Kalshi or Polymarket internalize liquidity, Precharm loses spreads and dies.

What makes Precharm unique

  • Precharm built a prediction-markets-only market-making stack, not a general quant shop.
  • By 2026-07-28, it claimed hundreds of millions traded and consistent profitability.
  • Its NYC, in-person founding team stays small, so strategy changes ship fast.
