Manufacturing Cost Accountant
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant for our Jeannette, PA team. You will be tasked with managing the financial needs and reporting for one of the most exciting manufacturing environments for environmental sustainability in the world. This will include but not be limited to month-end closing procedures, asset analysis, asset and accrual reviews and other accounting duties relevant to our Jeannette operation.
This detail-oriented and high energy individual will be responsible for all accounting processes for our plant operations.

This position reports to our Corporate Accounting Manager with close ties to our plant management structure. This role is an in-plant role with the possibility for hybrid work and is based in Jeannette, PA not far from Pittsburgh and its major roadways.
Essential responsibilities:
- Manage our manufacturing accounting within the Oracle framework.
- Driving detailed reviews that bring the operation in lock step with the financials while overseeing our standard costing model on a continual basis, including variance analysis in several categories like production, inventory, revenue and others.
- Owning our Monthly, Quarterly and Annual closing procedures including financial statement analysis, asset and accrual reviews
- Analyze and provide accounting support for raw material, finished goods and offsite (consignment and non-consignment) inventories.
- Fixed asset accounting (Construction in Progress & placed in service) for the plant.
- Assist with Fixed Asset planning and forecasting.
- Intercompany revenue accounting with other TEI branches.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- Have and maintain a firm grasp on GAAP accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Cost Accounting, including (WIP) work in progress experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Highly organized
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 4+ years of accounting and / or related experience.
