  • Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience.
  • Has a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
  • Is confident with catheter placement, blood collection, TPR monitoring, and triage.
  • Has competent anaesthetic monitoring skills.
  • Demonstrates communication and customer service abilities.
  • Can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and assist in theatre.
  • Monitor anaesthesia and support patient recovery.
  • Perform blood collection, catheter placement, TPR monitoring, and triage.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Run diagnostic tests and pathology procedures.
  • Provide nursing care to hospitalised patients.
  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the clinic.
  • Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the hospital.
