Environmental Specialist
About the job
- A minimum S1 degree in Forestry or Forestry Engineering.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the same position; experience in the mining industry is preferred.
- Experience supervising post-mining land reclamation, land preparation, and vegetation planting.
- Knowledge of RKL-RPL, PROPER, acid mine drainage management, reclamation, and mining environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with mapping software such as ArcGIS and/or environmental software such as Qual2Kw or AERMOD is an advantage.
- A driving license class A and ability to operate a light vehicle.
- Willingness to be based at the site in South Sumatra and actively perform field work.
- Oversee and ensure that all mining activities comply with applicable environmental regulations, including post-mining land restoration, reclamation implementation, land preparation, vegetation planting, waste management, and pollution prevention, so that company operations meet legislation and company environmental performance standards.
- Experience in the mining industry.
- Familiarity with mapping software such as ArcGIS and/or environmental software such as Qual2Kw or AERMOD.
- Environmental management certifications such as POPAL, PPPA, PPPU, POPLB3, or PLB3.
