  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in industrial B2B markets
  • Experience with plastic or treated lumber is a plus
  • Track record of closing new business and large accounts
  • Experience with OEMs, distributors, retailers, and large contractors
  • High energy and highly self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially
  • Experience in one or more of the target markets
  • Experience calling on corporate and regional decision makers
Responsibilities
  • Learn the intricacies of the plastic lumber market
  • Continue education in sales and marketing process
  • Manage and expand an existing book of business
  • Assist in nationwide sales efforts
  • Identify, prospect, and close large repeat accounts
  • Pursue regional OEMs, distributors, national retailers, and large contractors
  • Become knowledgeable in and sell multiple grades and profiles of plastic lumber
  • Travel at least 70% of the time within the assigned territory
  • Cold calling and developing new prospects
  • Understand and present plastic lumber value proposition
  • Use Oracle/CPQ (CRM) to document all sales activity
  • Collect and share market and competitive intelligence
  • Help drive innovation by collaborating with manufacturing, sales, and marketing
  • Use networking to develop relationships and referrals
