Responsibilities
Organize and supervise activities, sporting events, participants, coaches, spectators, parents, and possibly officials under the general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator.
Pay attention to games and calls made by referees.
Use a computerized scoreboard control panel, calculator, office equipment, specialized equipment related to the assigned activity or sport, and occasionally a city vehicle.
Make decisions affecting people's activities and support worker motivation and satisfaction.
Communicate with the public, presenting information tactfully and using judgment to avoid friction and obtain desired results.
