Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Four years of relevant experience are required, or three years with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is required.
  • Strong organizational discipline, time management, prioritization, attention to detail, accuracy, adaptability, and follow-through are required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Candidates must be United States citizens.
  • The ability to work on-site at the client site in Washington, DC, during Eastern Time business hours is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the project manager with meeting scheduling, agendas, minutes, action-item tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain project trackers covering schedules, tasks, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Produce routine project status reports.
  • Conduct research and data gathering, and support analysis and documentation of findings.
  • Draft communications and reports.
  • Support SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 collaboration spaces and file organization.
  • Provide surge support for data cleanup, migration preparation, and validation activities.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding documentation and standard operating procedures for project routines.
  • Support change-management and communications activities, strategic planning, performance management, business transformation, process improvement, governance, facilitation, and portfolio management.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, project charters, stakeholder-engagement plans, performance and risk-management materials, executive briefs, presentations, fact sheets, playbooks, and web-based media.
  • Design and implement performance-measurement frameworks and evaluation, monitoring, and measurement methods.
  • Conduct business-case, alternatives, cost-estimating, process, and performance analyses.
  • Support the development, maintenance, testing, dashboarding, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support of Microsoft Access-based tools.
  • Plan and support Integrated Baseline Reviews with documentation, reporting, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Facilitate and document workshops, working groups, and focus sessions, including logistics, action tracking, editorial, and production services.
  • Provide project-management support, performance measurement, progress tracking, senior-leader engagement, and strategic communications.
  • Travel beyond the 50-mile minimum local commuting area as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification is desired.
  • Experience in the defense and security sector is desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Visio is desirable.
