About the job
- 1–3 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar legal support role.
- Experience working in Australian legal practice or with Australian law is required.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and compile reports, case summaries, or briefs as needed.
- Maintain and organize case files, contracts, and other legal records for easy access.
- Support the legal team with client communications, scheduling, and case management.
- Assist with compliance tasks, due diligence, and other administrative legal duties.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure smooth legal operations.
- Familiarity with legal practice management software such as LEAP Legal, Smokeball, Clio, Actionstep, and MyCase.
- Experience in a remote working environment.
