Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline, with 9+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • Experience working in agile environments and leading Scrum teams or task teams.
  • Current Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with diverse information technology projects.
  • Knowledge of the full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices.
  • Current experience delivering systems, tools, or solutions into production while transitioning to improved technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and facilitate and document meetings.
  • Analytical and investigation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Ability to facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve team issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas.
  • Ability to deliver timely, meaningful outcomes while coordinating multiple assignments, maintaining a positive attitude, and providing exemplary customer service.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in dynamic customer delivery environments.
  • Ability to attain a Department of Homeland Security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum or Kanban-related meetings.
  • Manage the JIRA board and backlog for sprint execution.
  • Facilitate interconnection and dialogue between multiple intersecting development contracts to promote a cohesive final product for the customer.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, transparency, and information sharing.
  • Manage parallel application development and project or product implementation processes.
  • Assist the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition, and identify and remove impediments.
  • Prevent distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver release goals, and facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
  • Empower the team to self-organize, improve team productivity, and ensure each increment of functionality is potentially releasable code.
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint or release progress, and maintain process documentation.
  • Update physical and electronic agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product backlogs and in-progress work, and support Development Managers and Project or Product Managers as necessary.
  • Ensure development teams follow core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and breakdown of user stories and tasks.
  • Interface with internal and government management personnel.

  • Experience negotiating prioritization between Product Owners and technical leadership.
