Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in apparel or fashion design, with hosiery experience preferred.
  • Expertise with CAD software, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems, such as BlueCherry or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of tech pack development, garment construction, and material selection.
  • Hands-on experience with CLO 3D and other leading 3D software tools.
  • Solid understanding of fashion trends, consumer preferences, and product positioning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing trend and concept research to inform seasonal direction and market relevance.
  • Create design stories, mood boards, color palettes, and material samples to support new design concepts.
  • Manage the design process from initial concept to final styling, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and seasonal objectives.
  • Develop detailed CAD sketches, conduct design research, and present design iterations.
  • Propose and select fabrics and trims aligned with product functionality and brand aesthetics.
  • Create and maintain detailed tech packs documenting specifications, materials, and construction methods.
  • Support data entry and tech pack management in product lifecycle management systems, such as BlueCherry.
  • Present final styling and packaging concepts to the Design Lead and other stakeholders for approval.
  • Participate in product and packaging approval processes, ensuring deliverables meet internal standards and timelines.
