Responsibilities

Provide expert photo services, digital passport photos, and support for customer service transactions, including FedEx, Western Union, and online order fulfillment.
Maintain the photo department's inventory, supplies, organization, and operational readiness, including monitoring inventory levels and ensuring product and service availability.
Promote photo products and services, assist customers at checkout registers, process transactions and cash handling activities accurately, support merchandising initiatives, and collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, customer-focused environment.
Engage customers and patients at the photo counter, greet them, proactively offer assistance, identify needs, provide personalized products and services, resolve concerns, and answer questions.
Model customer-focused behaviors and service best practices across the team, including greeting customers warmly, offering proactive and personalized support, and following through to resolve customer needs.
Deliver courteous, friendly, accurate, and efficient service in the photo department, including digital passport photo services and promotion of photo products and services.
Recommend products, services, upgrades, and companion items to meet customer needs and drive sales opportunities.
Process purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, and rain checks accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Monitor photo department inventory levels, maintain records, ensure product availability, and maintain photo expenses, raw materials, and supplies at levels aligned with forecasted three-week customer demand.
Process and fulfill photo, online, and web pickup orders accurately and on time.
Provide customer support for FedEx, Western Union, and other auxiliary services while complying with applicable policies and procedures.
Maintain photo equipment and use store systems and technology to support daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver quality results.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and well-merchandised photo department and contribute to overall store appearance and operational standards.
Support photo and nearby departments with display maintenance, promotional and seasonal setups, inventory activities, resets, and revisions.
Support cross-training and development of store team members on photo department operations and services to ensure coverage and operational continuity when the Photo Specialist is not scheduled.
Follow company policies, asset protection standards, and applicable regulatory requirements to help ensure a safe, compliant, and secure environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members, maintain respectful working relationships, and complete additional assignments as needed to support business objectives.
Attend training and complete e-Learnings requested by a manager or assigned by corporate.

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

• Models and reinforce customer-obsessed behaviors and service best practices across the team to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and behaviors by consistently greeting customers warmly, assisting through proactive and personalized support, and solving customer needs through resolution and follow-through until satisfied.

Operations

• Provides customer support for service offerings, including FedEx, Western Union, and other auxiliary services, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintains photo equipment and utilizes store systems and technology to support daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver quality results.
• Maintains a clean, organized, safe, and well-merchandised photo department and contributes to overall store appearance and operational standards.
