SentinelOne brings AI governance to Lenovo ThinkShield in expanded partnership

SentinelOne has expanded its partnership with Lenovo to add AI security to Lenovo's ThinkShield security portfolio. The company announced the deal on October 21, 2026. The move builds on their existing work on endpoint detection and response. It adds visibility into, and governance over, AI agents and AI use on ThinkShield endpoints through SentinelOne Prompt Security. EDR For Home brings SentinelOne business-grade protection to home PCs and Macs from $6.97 a month

EDR For Home is bringing the SentinelOne Singularity agent, the endpoint protection software businesses use, to home PCs and Macs. Plans start at $6.97 a month and are sold month to month, without an enterprise contract. The agent is set to Protect, so it stops threats automatically, even when the device is offline. The Control plan costs $6.97 for one device, $19.97 for up to four, and $39.97 for up to 10. The Complete plan, which adds investigation tools, starts at $15.97 for one device. The plans are software only, with no 24/7 monitoring. Email support aims to reply within one to two business days. The company says the launch responds to rising scams: the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center reported $20.877 billion in losses in 2025, up 26% from 2024. EDR For Home is also publishing a free guide on vetting AI security advice.

SentinelOne wins SIEM Solution of the Year in CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards 2026.

SentinelOne wins SIEM Solution of the Year in CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards 2026. Award recognizes Singularity AI, SentinelOne's foundational offering to help SecOps teams deliver on the vision for the Autonomous SOC MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - October 8, 2026 - SentinelOne(R)(NYSE: S), the AI Security leader, today announced it has been named "SIEM Solution of the Year" in the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards 2026 program. This award recognizes Singularity AI SIEM, SentinelOne's innovative data offering for helping security teams defenders detect, investigate and stop threats through the use of real-time security data and automated workflows. AI empowered attackers, rogue and malicious agents, and a new, expanded AI attack surface have shown the limits of legacy SOC defenses like SIEM and SOAR. SentinelOne provides security teams with a modern, autonomous foundation to combat these rapidly evolving risks, head on. A foundational component for realizing the benefits of a truly autonomous SOC, SentinelOne's AI SIEM was built from the ground up to ingest, index, and analyze telemetry across seamless, scalable AI data pipelines. Instead of adding legacy automation on top of fragmented datasets, SentinelOne turns the volume and complexity that once hid attackers into a decisive operating advantage for defenders. "AI has not only empowered attackers, but has become an attack surface in its own right, creating threats that quickly outscale and outpace legacy defenses," said Chris Corde, Chief Product Officer of SentinelOne. "Being named SIEM Solution of the Year validates SentinelOne's approach to AI-powered, autonomous defense. From embracing a broader collection of enterprise data through smart AI data pipelines, to scaling and automation investigations and response through agentic workflows, our goal is to give defenders the modern foundation needed to reimagine the SOC for the AI era." SentinelOne built AI SIEM for where security operations are heading: an autonomous yet auditable closed loop where every signal is observed, every threat investigated, and every validated incident resolved at machine speed. Getting there starts with the data. Every record stays instantly searchable for up to seven years, giving defenders the full visibility to detect hidden threats that fragmented tools miss. From there, no-code Hyperautomation takes on the repetitive work at machine speed, within team-defined guardrails, so the alerts that reach an analyst are the ones that need human judgement. And for those alerts, SentinelOne's Purple AI(R) is already working the case alongside the analyst, summarizing what happened, answering plain-language questions, and recommending the next steps, so an analyst at any experience level can investigate with confidence. The CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards program honors the top companies, technologies, and products in the global information security market, chosen from a large pool of nominations from security vendors worldwide.
